About Brook

Brook has won numerous real estate honors including the Gates Award from the Santa Barbara Board of Realtors and has had her listings and sales achievements featured in several Wall Street Journal articles.
As a Luxury sales specialist for three decades years, Brook has closed an array of significant properties including a classic Montecito estate designed by George Washington Smith and the ultra-modern architectural home known as “The Glass Pavilion.” Her sales span a wide range of Santa Barbara’s neighborhoods and pricing, from mountain top perches to oceanfront meadows.
She is also a book author and President of Dare Wright Media. Brook has been a Board member of the international animal welfare organization Born Free and currently serves on the Regional Advisory Board of the Anti-Defamation League. She was president of The Santa Barbara International Film Festival as its reputation rose from local to international recognition and has taught tae kwon do karate.

Brook grew up in New York City, graduating from The Brearley School. She attended George Washington University and Columbia University and has a BA in Cultural Anthropology.

Prior to her career in real estate, she was a professional actress starring on Broadway and television.
